UX Woes: Incredible Connection 3-Character Search

I’m in the market for an I7 and I’ve been searching high and low for the right deal: An Intel I7 with 4 cores and 8 threads, hyperthreading and virtualisation as minimum requirements. All the websites that I’ve been to allow you to search for “I7”. All websites except one: Incredible Connection.

And when I asked them about it, they had this rubbish attitude “We’re so awesome we have 7000 products. We’re not going to fix it. Smiley face.”

You simply cannot defend poor design

The awesome websites that allow two-character search
Chaos Computers Search for I7
Wootware Search for I7
ARK Intel Search for I7
Amazon Search for I7
TakeAlot Search for I7
Gumtree Search for I7 in the whole of South Africa

Of course, Incredible Connection isn’t the only one with a “screw usability” attitude. Computer Mania’s electronic catalog is also impossible to search. But then they don’t even pretend to offer that ability.
